We just write

First,

  I am listening to "Ruby Tuesday" by the Rolling Stones.

It does set a tone.

Part of that emotion thing.

Collect myself for a moment,

  and should work all of this out.

Believe it, 

  or not,

    this all comes back to writing.

Every little thing,

   now I just ripped off the Police,

     it is another influence.

Trying to keep to the simplistic point.

  

We just write.

No excuses.

Be honest.

Dreams or passing feelings?

Which do you want?

i wasn't even in that direction...soon as i saw that line i thought of "Every little thing she does, she does for me, yeah"

this poem reminds me of how much i love music...and how constantly things happen in my life, people say almost anything, and i am humming lyrics to a song.

A friend of mine shares a game with me. We will have conversations consisting of song lyrics. A few rules were decided. No repeats. The line "You are a dancing queen." is basically like a Mulligan in golf, also only able to be used once. Needless to be said, we drive our friends insane when we start doing this.
