Why do I write?

Why do I write?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I know.
  I keep asking you.

Time to turn it around.

The easiest way to explain it.
  Sometimes the fingers fly.

I get to speak to a quiet audience.

This is all a way of planning for the next day.

Sharing a touch of your soul toughens you up.

These ones are always questions. I just feel you have to understand why you write.
