Spoiled

Spoiled

A Poem by Jon Roggie

In this case,
  I shouldn't complain.

We have been given all of this.

Centuries of writers,
and masters of speaking to the crowd.

This is what we grow from,
and try to add a few words.

Words will flow,
and might match a certain cadence.

They are still your words.

If,
  you notice the similarity,
    it is not a repetition.

Something you learned.

You always remember your influences.

You write with openness and precision. The reflections of this poetic trade is in union with the truth. An excellent penning....:))))
