You have to understand

You have to understand

A Poem by Jon Roggie

You are not here.
  Occasional phone call does not give you insight.

Time had to pass.

Everything you called clutter,
  let us be honest,
    those were memories.

Not something to be rushed.

Now,
  slowly,
      it maybe time to let some things go.

I like the thoughts and the logic of the poetry. Clutter can become precious memory. Some clutter must be released. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to the good ending. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.

I understand the poetry. Dear Grandmother died. Took a long time to go through her things.
