Raising a teenagerA Poem by Jon RoggiePlease excuse a touch of venting.
How did my mom do this?
Bad enough she had to raise four boys, but then raise one of the next generation? Why is she having to raise a teenager, especially when she is in her seventies? I can give the answer, but I am restraining myself. Excuse the rambling. Anyway, I was added to the mix. The uncle.... I am supposed to be able to leave. Maybe after an hour, maybe in the morning. Life lessons are meant to be said in passing. Wonder why I grumble? I got stuck. Now, I am dredging up history. Then, it is a touch of geometry. Please don't let her take physics. She already thinks I have the answers. One thing I notice, unlike some, she will disagree. So, I have to share the past. I wish I could have started earlier.
