When you look at time

When you look at time

A Poem by Jon Roggie

It depends on what you remember.
I am going to sound like such an a*****e.
It all comes back,
  and honestly,
     I wish it didn't.
Memories covered with nostalgia,
  and no touch of truth.
I remember,
 and I hate it.
Now,
  there are a few benefits.
I might as well be a human iPod.
I heard it,
and I can listen to it again.
Those are only a distraction.
The rest just keep surfacing.
