Always a new song

There was always that song.

It seemed to sum up the time you were living.

The memory stayed.

Grow older,

  and the song changes.

You don't forget the other song,

   just don't seem to feel the same.

Hearing a new song.

Time passes,

  and a new tune catches your ear.

Each time,

  I wonder.

Do you remember the first tune?
