Drive in the rain

Drive in the rain

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Soothing.
Momentary escape.
Simple concentration.

Only sounds are the wiper blades,
  the tires rolling,
     and the sky's tear drops.

Healing.

No intruding emotions.

Revel within the elements,
  wanting only solitude.

yes, it feels like that...interstate, steady rain, wipers keeping the beat to that song of solitude running through out minds...and then...maybe a poem.

It gives you the chance to create.
you are right about that.

I just want to go into the wandering storyteller mode.
