Message lost

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Heads turn away,

and I have failed.

Simple meanings tossed to the side.

Quiet words no longer seem to work.

Shrug my shoulders,

and hide my distress.

I will speak to the stars,

and wait for the answer from afar.
