Forgotten letter

Forgotten letter

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Forgotten,
 but not forgot.

We were kids,
so sometimes it just gets put aside.

The emotions are still there,
at least if they were true.

A slip of tongue is all it takes.

Ah, I love coming across something from a love that did not end bitterly, but rather more to age or circumstance.

I always seem to suffer from circumstance. At least I manage to stay on speaking terms!
some loves don't die...circumstances cause the "put aside"

but the slightest touch, the softest word...and there it is...back to the forefront of what if's!
