Picture the ice

Picture the ice

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Excuse me for a moment.
I am going through a process.

Trying to redact a bit of pain.

Crops up now and then,
 and I can only try.

There you are.

Spread you about,
  and it helps.

Now,
  feel the cold.

Nothing painful,
 just a bit numb.

Let everything settle back to normal.

Trust me.

This will take more time.

Still,
  it is starting to work.

Don't even need a prescription.
