How am I supposed to be serious?

How am I supposed to be serious?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Really,
it is only a passing fancy.

I am a trickster.
Passing a joke along with a stone like face.

Sure,
I see what is going on,
but how can any of you focus?

Let me make my jokes,
  and they may settle in.

Not like they meant anything.
