Experience

Experience

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Does experience matter?

Granted, it does give an insight,
but that is only a view.

Case in point,
  walking through the dessert,
  middle of the night.

Hear the rattle of one of the local snakes.

Of course,
  you freeze,
but you can't just stand there.

Now.
  Which way do you walk?

Since I am still here,
I seem to have taken the safer path.

How am I to know?

The only light was from the stars.

Another odd life lesson.
