It is only a phase

It is only a phase

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Yeah .....
How many times have we heard that one?

We may change our hair,
  and hopefully style of clothing,
but we are still the same little kids.

Believe that?

Unless you live a miraculous life,
eventually there comes a sledgehammer to the head.

Something will change everything.

Still,
  I miss my style,
and my hair wasn't so gray.

I do love the way you write. Seems there's always a question or concept that makes me stop and do some deep introspection.
"Unless you live a miraculous life,

Something will change everything."
Oh yes...but does it change the basic self we always were or just cause us to make adjustments in perspective....this will be on my mind for a while. Thanks. You always do this to me. :)

That is the greatest compliment.
Things always change, and all we can do is adapt.
