What did you hear?

What did you hear?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

This is crucial.
It comes back to the screams.
Constant laughter.
You just keep being bounced around.
Nothing in your control.
Is this why you are crying?
"Will you leave the kid alone?"
"He was in a bounce-house,
   not a crime scene!"
