History changes

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Constantly rewritten,
  and yes,
    I am not content.

If it was only constant.

The problem is it changes.

How can that work?

Random stability?

Let me crawl back to my cave.
At least we kept things clear.

I do like this poem. Especially the ending.
"Let me crawl back to my cave.
At least we kept things clear."
I like the cave. I dislike change also. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.

Something about the change is what bothers me. It might be the various interpretations.

I don't like change. Old men like life to flow in the same pace and you are welcome.

Now I have to listen to Neil Young"s "Old Man".
Smiling. No explanation necessary. A totally great take on "when things were much simpler" -- to the power of ten.

Now, I can't help but think of a Monty Python sketch. Four yorkshiremen.
Ah, the official stories are seldom truthful to the bone...we live in a world of re-written re-wiring...love this :)

Thank you. Stories seem to change faster now.
you are either a Neanderthal or Batman :) in either case I can not name one thing that is constant except change, change is constantly changing.
