Just a hack

Just a hack

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I admit it.
  Why shouldn't I?
Now,
I don't mind if you abstain from a quick agreement.
It comes down to a certain mentality.
I can never become complacent.
It just does not end well.
If I become too relaxed,
  it goes to s**t.
Being honest.
So,
  as a self-proclaimed hack,
I can only try to get better.
as long as I keep trying

I really like the originality to how you write...almost conversational and with a potent meaning...awesome :)

Just talking around the fire. Everyone gets a chance to chime in, and add to the mix!
we are own worst critics not only with our writing, but in the lives we write about.

As long as we are honest, we are our best critic. Thank you, sir.
Jon.
