There is always another story

There is always another story

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Nudged awake,
  quietly told,
     "They want a story."

Arrange my hair,
  and comb my beard.
    Can't look like the madman.

All it takes is the eyes.

So,
  I tell the story.
      Not one you might hear.

Upset?
Yes, you didn't get to hear it.

Told another story,
  and back to sleep.

Eyes reflecting the stars.

Really nice. This can be taken a few different ways. I like how this one reads out. Very good

Thank you. Sometimes you just have to play with the story!
