sometimes there are real causes...we had them back in the sixties...we felt like screaming...but then there are those who scream just for the sake of screaming, just for something to do, no meaning behind it more than being just what you said "a distraction."

I will always remember a moment in 1984. Fourth of July, and I am in Hamburg. Informal exchange group, and in the courtyard of the hostel we sang the Star Spangled Banner. People watched us from the windows, and they applauded when we finished. We had just came from Berlin. We saw both sides of the Wall. Sorry, bit of a ramble. Too many distractions.
