I can only stay awhile

I can only stay awhile

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Honestly,
  I am too distracted.

Words fly by,
and I don't have the energy to catch them.

Still,
  I see something.

It keeps growing,
  and I can only wait.

Soon....

Sleep well Dear Tortoise.. the words are nestled in the fall leaves waiting for you to wake..

Oddly enough, I dreamed of tortoises last night. Must be time.

Ahh the rustle of leaves ! ( :
it's like the muse...she stays for only awhile, then gets distracted, thus we get distracted...and the words take off until the next visit.

Thank you, sir. As a friend from Oz land says, you will know when the time is right.
