   I am a bit jaded.
     I walked in East Berlin.

Times change,
  and we need to as well.

Every reenactment reminds me.

Another tragedy,
   combined with the same old lines.

   and so many just talk
       instead of trying

I was a kid when I went to Europe. 17 years old talking with such innocence. One of my friends asked the vice mayor of West Berlin if there would ever be a reunification. He said never. That was in 1984.
