Add a bit to the story

Add a bit to the story

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Granted,
I tend to keep the story short.

I see no need to waste  your time,
  but now and again?

Missed a few punctuations?
  I blame my fingers.

Now,
  back to a story,
    this is spoken word?

Excuse me,
I may get a bit profane.

How do you ignore him?

This is where,
  while passing through,
   my selfish side shows through.

I have given up a year of my life,
  and you barely stopped by.

    Oh,
I did save his life a few times
not that you were around to notice.

Now,
   I just seem to complain.

Worst is I just don't want to speak at all.
