Let me be honest

I try not to complain,
  even though the feeling still slips through.

Seeing what everyone else does...
    it hurts.

Yes,
  I could focus on specifics,
     but the pain comes from simple neglect.

So,
  while you carry on,
   thinking everything is covered,
 
      I miss moments,

            and grow bitter....

should emotions be so easily controlled as thought this world would be a much easier place to live in, should emotion not control one's thoughts we'd all be in a constant state of utopia, truly an exercise in mind over what one think matters.
