Letting the rage steam away

Letting the rage steam away

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Still a work in progress.

You can't hold it in,
there has to be some kind of release.

Case in point.

Three hours in the office,
   and....

No.

   I will stop.

It would defeat the purpose.

Dwelling on anger,
  building the resentment,
     not worth a damn.

trying to stay in the cooling rain

a fine line between purging and dwelling...
we rant to get it out, but then the rain stops and we are sweating all the stuff once again.

Still trying to find that line, my friend.
Thanks,
Jon.
