Trying not to lash out,
  and diverting all of the emotions.

Focusing on an image,
   which ever distracts me.

I do agree that it's wise not to squander emotions by blasting off superfluous responses & that's why I've become a dry old biddy. I think I could hang out with Ghandi. I also realize I do get angry. Both of us could talk about how we move past that. The other option is we let the rage flow. I prefer to take a different path! Plus, by now you know I hide ideas in the words.
