A touch of anger

A touch of anger

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Time for a vent.

Ramones playing,
and I feel myself growing cold.

I will not go into details,
because the list is growing too long.

Simply stated,
  I am getting flipping tired.

He is your father!

Now,
apparently the fifteen minute visits are too much.

Talk about how much you are doing,
when you stand in front of the congregation.

I know you need a break.

Don't worry,
  the watch continues.

Enjoy your four days on the coast.

beautiful poem. I can relate to everything you are saying, not only because I'm also a Ramones fan. I like how you seem to speak the truth that you believe. The last line is my favorite.
