Yes, I am drawing from Frank Herbert's Dune.

A pixie whispered in my ear,
  and asked about the water.

I realize many wonder what the problem could be,
  but did you wonder if the taps went dry?

The luxury of water should not be wasted.

Ask those who worry about the source.

Before you respond with it can't happen here,
  trust me,
    it can.

I do not want to live in a world,
  one which is amazed by giving water to the dead.

I prefer one where the phrase is "Share water, brother."

I let my youth show on this. If you have ever read Dune, you can understand part of this. The last line is from Stranger in a strange land. Just in case you never heard the term Grok.
