A casual distraction

A casual distraction

A Poem by Jon Roggie

What ever you can fix on,
at least those are the words I say to myself.

Even deciding which one helps with the pain.

Debating which is worse even helps.

The surge of emotions,
or the constant of the body.

Each put into the background
by an act of the mind.

A casual distraction.
