I can always come up with a story

I can always come up with a story

A Poem by Jon Roggie

You don't want me to tell the truth.
  Your eyes plead,
and I can only give a subtle nod.

So,
  I tell a story.

Something with a flat tire,
  and walking to a station.

Anything to explain the time.

While I rage inside,
for you I will tell a story.
