For Corset

For Corset

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I know you will understand,
  words are only the beginning.

Wishes are easy,
  ones we hope to see.

We can only try,
and as a certain band said,
    "Let it be."

now what band might that have been, who said that?
the Quarrymen, the silver Beetles?
oh yes,

words are the beginning, the effort to make those words come true are what finishes the deal...
"there will be an answer, let it be, let it be"----

I understand that I have a box full of feathers that I have found at my feet, some are white, some are black and some are black and white, most I am sure have fallen from my pillow so I don't keep those :P
I keep those feathers because I know angels drop them when they cry. The only thing I can promise is that I will try to understand, try to be patient. My new years resolution is to "let it be". Thank you for this poem, we write from our experience, we are the sum of our experiences, but I will try.

Try my friend.
Granted,
I am just an armchair philosopher.
