How did you finish the year?

How did you finish the year?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Something to remember,
or something you would rather forget?

Bit of both.
  Part the moment,
    and,
       also the memories

Saved a life today,
and I wonder if I just prolonged it.

So,
how did you finish the year?

Doctors and E.M.T,'s do this all the time but sometimes against the persons wish I personally feel life is a race and if you don't finish it you will miss out on your reward for competing.Sometimes memories are good and sometimes bad.I prefer to make them all good cause they could always be worse. This piece inspires me to write about an old cliche nice short and sweet

Family ranges across the medical field. I call myself a cook. Managed this, but now I wonder.
sometimes the life did not want to be saved----yet it is a natural instinct to save...
each moment is one to remember or forget...hopefully the new year will be comprised of many more saveable moments...

i'm still debating my finish.
