A season of memories

If you only listen to the commercials,
  all about the present.

I can understand.
   Enjoy the moment of joy.

I mix in a touch of the past,
  and I hope many of you do also.

Memories of days gone by,
  and those who went with them.

Because I feel beside the season of joy,
  there stands a season of memories.
