Same here. First time I won't be there for one niece. She still has the bear I gave her on her first one. She had just came out of chemo.

i remember the old lights on the tree...big blubs, dark green, dark blue, dark red...the good old days....christmas was different back then...some presents, not extreme...more about the season...the feeling of it...what it really meant.

We had a tree, and it was never replaced. By the age of ten, I set it up, and did the decorations. I still remember those times.
