Just another song

We try to sing,
  and hope the melody is pleasing,
   but some songs seem to be off tempo.


A bit against the rhythm,
   against the song most want to hear.

Still we sing,
   and wait for others to take up the chorus.

especially true for poets...we sing it like it is, get to the raw theme of it...and it is abrasive to some...they don't want to be bothered with that nasty stuff...they want just to hear what they want to hear...the block out the truth.
