Tsunami

Tsunami

A Poem by Jon Roggie

You know those little quizzes,
those trying to get you to share?

Which natural disaster are you?

Yes,
  I will take the quiz,
    blocking any connection.

So,
  I get tsunami.

The description is too appropriate.

Quietly building,
   focusing on a spot,
     and waiting.

Letting the anger hover,
   and leaving,
       taking the damage with you,

only clear sands to be seen.

If only that was true.
