Words in anothers mouth

Words in anothers mouth

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Gossip as you like,
  but this is low.

Too much time,
  and no attention,
    so why not?

Create a story,
  forget the damage.

Gives you a bit of attention.

The subject faces the storm,
  explaining the lies,
while your keyboard focuses on another.

ooo yes....this is quite the expose----why are people like this?
there is no reason for the meanness ...
just for attention...that lasts only a short time...the conscience will last a lifetime.

I hate to say it, but it doesn't matter. Most focus on the gossip. Some of us move past it.
Beautiful and short exposition of the nature of gossip.

Ain't it a b***h?

The sad part is how universal it is.

Thanks.
