I will try to explain

I will try to explain

A Poem by Jon Roggie

To be honest,
  the words come easily,
and i could embellish my simple writes.

It would change the meaning.

Moments of pain,
   loneliness,
      happiness,
          or simple observation,
    are to be experienced,
       and in the moment shared.

I try to give a glimpse,
  enough to catch the eye,
   but never the entire story.

Each of us have our tales,
  often like the next,
    and each deserves their place.

I keep my own short,
 and usually quiet,
   just a release.

the real moments are the more simple ones...the ones that come out naturally with the pen---embellishment stiffens the mood...quiet is a better release.
