No need for drama

No need for drama

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I try to remind myself,
and it does take some effort.

These scribbles are merely a release,
showing a part of the story.

Only a single tear,
  instead of a crying face.

I try to be quiet,
  and show only a glimpse,
    only a hint of emotion.

So,
I will keep the story close,
     bland look on my face,
because there is no need for the drama.

In so doing, your pieces pack an emotional punch. No need for drama when the emotions are conveyed so eloquently and clearly.
