Would you rather?

Tell me your preference,
  the title makes no difference.

I will still try to tell a story.

I know,
  an odd question.

I try to be honest,
  and I am a bit confused.

I think I should tell stories,
  and they don't seem to fall in the modern day lines.

Bit of poetry,
  some music lyrics,
     mixed with a story.

Which one do you like?
    Just curious.
