Another costume

All Hallows Eve,
  just another day.

Wear the usual costume,
  one with a smile.

Nothing scary,
  looking pleasant.

Just don't notice my eyes,
  black,
     and bottomless.

Look at the casual grin.

it's that closer look into the eyes, that gives us away...even with the grin, there chagrin hidden.
