Bruises will fade

Bruises will fade

A Poem by Jon Roggie

For me,
  ones in passing,
    and i struggle to remember.

I bumped into something,
  moving a bit to fast.

I just see the aftermath.

Story of my life.

Tired of seeing bruises,
and the pain in another pair of eyes.

Each time,
  anger is the first response,
     but not the one needed.

Time for healing,
  and a chance to think.

I have to say this. I lashed out. This one brought back some old pain, and I was out of line. I am sorry, Kurayami.

This is a good poem. I suggest that you can read it aloud to yourself sometime because it could be spoken word poetry.
