A bird in flight

A bird in flight

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Think before you take action.

Don't rip it from the air,
leaving feathers drifting to the ground.

Don't attempt to cage it,
  taking away freedom,
    and so much joy.

Watch the bird fly,
   enjoying the beauty.

let it fly away if it wants to, and most likely it will want to fly back to you.

ah, love...when we cage it, we lose it.

Love, and life. Each were meant to be free.
