Watching the streamA Poem by Jon Roggie
An early morning,
peaceful spot beside a stream, seeing what I may see. A branch, momentarily caught between the stones, changes the flow of the water. Leaves, and other following debris, add their weight. until the branch is finally swept away. Some would think there is no more to this, but the momentary change in the stream has effect. Some beneath the surface, hidden in the sand. Others along the surface, easily seen. Yet the changes wait to be seen downstream. © 2014 Jon RoggieReviews
