Momentary cooperation

Momentary cooperation

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Hands.
   Let's talk.

We can get along.

Muscles are cramping,
and the shakes will be added soon enough.

So,
  let's talk.

I will try to be gentle,
you know we have a delicate touch.

I will keep you out of the cold,
we both like to be comfortable.

A bit of cooperation,
  and I see you agree.

You release the muscles,
   and momentarily,
   we both fly free.
