All about the challenge

All about the challenge

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I like to say,
  "I just write."

Not always that simple.

Yes,
  I try to write.

I know I use few words,
trying to make others fill in the blanks.

I want others to create.

So far,
only one has answered the call.

Trying to draw in another,
  an artist,
one to give me an image,
       waiting for words.

I wait while I write,
  eyes changing to gold.
