Born a devil

Born a devil

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Sometimes an angelic face,
   seeming so innocent,
     hiding a laugh.

Trusted,
   respected,
      and waiting,
          because of constant judgement.

Never thought I heard,
  and I played along.

Lulling you into a comfortable rest,
      while I choose whether,
          or not,
             a joke easy to play.
