I miss shimmerbliss

A Poem by Jon Roggie

How many miss someone?
  Someone who encouraged your writing.

Some pause,
  and show up after awhile.

Others are just gone.

I can't say they left,
  because I still remember them,
   and their words.

You were one of the first words of encouragement,
  and I cherish each one.

Time has past,
   others respond.

Still,
  I do miss you.

I like this. It's true. There are some people who leave we miss, and wish would return. One thing I would say, is flipping from them to you within such a short poem you might want to reconsider.:)
