A simple connection

I may have talked about this before,
my mind does wander,
    and wonder.

Ever notice when you meet another pair of eyes?

You can glance away,
or return it.

Not always pleasant.

In passing,
you can feel so much joy,
    and so much pain.

Those are easier to deal with than some.

Some eyes are just dead.
Souls who have given up,
     and are just waiting.

just rambling,
    but I do keep looking.
