Constant beeps

Constant beeps

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Yes,
  it is annoying,
but he is trying to connect.

He doesn't realize his phone is set to speaker,
and he doesn't remember those he attempts to call,
     well,
        they are long gone.

So,
  set aside this passing irritant,
and wait til he goes to sleep.

Then,
I will take the phone off speaker.
