Both sides of the coin

Writing dreams,
  and I have to be careful.

Nothing wrong with a sad touch,
 balancing an abundance of joy,
   but I don't want to go too far.

A melancholy dream is enough,
  but I would rather not do a full flip,
    and create a nightmare.
